Principle:

The YiLian Medical's low-temperature plasma surgical electrode operates by utilizing a high-frequency electric field. When the device is powered on, the composite ceramic coating provides strong insulation, causing electric charges to concentrate at the blade edge. This leads to a tip discharge effect, generating a localized and intense electric field at the blade tip.

This electric field ionizes the molecules in the surrounding tissue, creating a plasma state composed of high-energy ions and electrons. These ions move at high speeds and deliver energy precisely to the target tissue, breaking molecular bonds and achieving tissue dissection—without relying on high temperatures.

Because the energy is primarily used to ionize tissue molecules rather than heating them, the cutting temperature remains below 70°C, which is much lower than the approximately 200°C required by traditional electrosurgical pencils. This lower temperature minimizes thermal damage to surrounding tissues and promotes better healing.

Features and Benefits

1.Low-Temperature Plasma Cutting

Cuts tissue through ionization in an electric field, rather than traditional thermal methods. This ensures a lower cutting temperature, resulting in less surgical smoke and clearer visibility during procedures.

2.Composite Ceramic Coating for Thermal Protection

The electrode surface is coated with an advanced composite ceramic layer that effectively reduces heat conduction, thereby minimizing lateral thermal damage to surrounding tissues.

3.Reduced Tissue Adhesion

The combination of low-temperature cutting and ceramic-coated surface significantly reduces tissue adhesion to the electrode, promoting smoother operation and easier instrument handling.

4.High Compatibility

Equipped with a universal connector, the electrode is fully compatible with standard high-frequency electrosurgical generators, allowing for easy integration into existing surgical systems.
